Pastor Daniel & Melissa Bowman

The son of missionaries, Daniel was born and grew up in Spain, while Melissa grew up in New England, with her senior year of high school as a missionary kid in Brazil. Returning to the US for education, they were later married in 1991. God has given them three great kids - Joshua (went to be with Jesus at nearly 2 years of age), Ryan (married to Carly!), and Alyssa. Daniel and Melissa love hiking, biking, traveling, writing, music…as well as anything where their kids are involved!

Dick & Renee Borzyskowski

Dick retired after 40 years from Falk Corp. in Milwaukee, where he was a manager of manufacturing engineering. He is treasurer for the Walworth County Gideons, and he served as a trustee for Southern Lakes E F church in Elkhorn. Renee is retired from nursing at Waukesha Memorial Hospital and as medical secretary for neurosurgery, and she also worked as a librarian for SLEFC. They have 6 children, 15 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren! They love Door County and CCFC, and they feel blessed that our Lord Jesus Christ lead them to this beautiful community. They desire to spread His Word to all!

Quintin & Dusty McMillan

Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, "Q" left RSA in 1974 and emigrated to the United States. He became a U.S. citizen in 1979 and worked for the Ford Motor Company in RSA and the marine towing business in Washington state. He became a golf-teaching professional - a passion that continues today. He has been married to Dusty for thirty years - a union blessed by God. Together they share four children, seven grandchildren, and a dog named Bella.

He was a member of His Place Church in Washington for 24 years where he was baptized. He had the honor to be a part of the prison ministry team where he went to the prison every other week to the sex offenders’ unit where he brought God’s message. He was also a member of the hospital team where he visited and prayed with patients. He also served as an usher, and he continues to be on the prayer team. He was blessed to find Community Church of Fish Creek which has been a God-send to him.

He plays pickle ball three times a week and golf when available. He plays and works at Horseshoe Bay Country Club where he also teaches. Dusty says that he has a great sense of humor and he does enjoy a good laugh.

Kevin & Pam Voss

Kevin and Pam came to Door County on a lark and immediately fell in love with the area. After years of vacationing here, they bought a home in Fish Creek in 2011. In 2014, they formed Door County Broadband, desiring to improve internet access in Door County. Kevin worked as a commercial real estate developer in St. Louis, MO and Tampa, FL. Pam’s career was in Oncology nursing in RI, where she was born and later in St. Louis when they married in 2001. They have 5 children: Teresa, David, Aimee, Allegra, and Zachary. In November they welcomed their first granddaughter, Riley. They love the outdoors, reading, music, and entertaining and any time they can have their kids together and now the hope of babysitting Riley.

Deacon Team...

Mark & Jane Mohr

I grew up in Thiensville, Wisconsin with 2 brothers and 2 sisters. In 1973 I went to Rice University in Houston, followed by graduate school at M.D. Anderson earning a Masters and Ph.D in tumor virology. After that I went to medical school in Galveston, Texas.
I returned to Milwaukee in 1986 for a residency in internal medicine at the Medical College. It was there that I met my wife to be, Jane Ollrogge. Married in 1988, we moved to LaCrosse so Jane could complete her internal medicine residency at Gunderson Lutheran. We both started practices at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare. In an effort to get closer to aging parents our next career efforts were briefly in Manitowoc and Merrill. After 7 years with the Marshfield clinic, Jane retired and I began work with Ascension Healthcare in Neenah where I am still employed.
We first went to Community Church in 1990. In 2000 we built a log cabin we nicknamed the “Dog House” as it became our favorite place to stay with our dogs while vacationing in Door County. We'll move here permanently in 2020 when I retire. We then look forward to more opportunities to serve our Lord and our family at Community Church.

Megan O'Meara

I was born in Chicago, IL, raised in McHenry, IL. I spend my days running my Irish import store in Fish Creek. In my free time, I like to read, travel to see family, and host tours to Ireland. I'd like the chance to visit Haiti one day. I trusted in Jesus when I was 17 years old and recommitted my walk with Him after moving to Door County. Community Church is home to my family and a place where we can gather and worship our Savior.

Susan & John Schaper

My husband, John, and I were invited to attend Community Church in 1996. We went to the service that next Sunday, and from that day we have made Community Church our church home. We felt God’s love and the love of a real church family. Through the years, many changes have occurred. We have had three pastors and two interims shepherd us, the church has grown in membership, and the building has been remodeled, re-decorated, and re-landscaped. What has not changed is the love of church family and community - locally and globally. Most importantly, the commitment to bring the transforming message of Jesus to the world has not changed!
