Elevator

Community Church Family - 

Aren’t you amazed when God does above and beyond what we can even imagine?  Our God is truly amazing!  As you know, we recently completed Project 23/24 - both increasing our footprint and remodeling everything that was existing.  For all of this, we truly say, "To God be the Glory!"

Because of all that God continues to do, we believe that He is leading us to add one final “piece” to what He has entrusted to us.  Initially, the plan had been to put an elevator at the back of the sanctuary…something that for various reasons was not going to be feasible.  Then, the plan was to install a chairlift in one of the two stairwells.  Again, we ran into some roadblocks with this option.  However, knowing that we currently (and more in the future) have people who need assistance moving between levels at church, we are believing God to provide for a full-size elevator to be located on the northeast corner of the building.  Our goal is to make all of the building easily accessible to all of our church family.

This elevator will only take eight additional feet of the patio just on that corner, though it will tie in seamlessly with the existing building.   The plan is to move forward with DeLeers (same company for Project 23/24), and if God continues opening doors, construction will take place May-June-July of 2026.

✔️ A prayer request is the $310,000 needed to complete this project.

✔️ An unforeseen praise is that two people have stepped forward with a Challenge Grant,

      matching dollar-for-dollar of all that is given!  Until July 31, every dollar given doubles!
